Thanks your comment it is very reassuring for me. I guess when you don't work like I have for the last 3 years you have too much time to think and your mind wanders everywhere. I need to stop checking the forum and my e-mail every hour lol.

Medical expiring in less than 2 months. Still waiting this is getting depressing. Don't understand why they are purposely making us wait. They approved someone that had no wedding in 2 months from when they received the application in Singapore. So that leads me to believe they can render...

New forms harder than old forms?

Probably consultants complaining new forms are harder since it's easier for regular folks to fill out. The 2 checklist in the old system was confusing with all these overlaps.

Best way to put pictures as an evidence for relationship?

I provided about 20-30 pictures with labels on each picture describing it. But 10 pages of communications might seem too little. I must have gone at least 50 pages. Truncated skype to show date and length of calls was at least 20 pages. Than there was my phone bills for each month another 20...

GCMS NOTES WELL EXPLAINED HAS NEVER BEFORE UNTIL NOW

My wife did her medical in February and we submitted application in March. It stills say medical review in progress. We've ordered 2 GCMS notes and it doesn't say why or maybe I'm not interpreting the medical section properly.

Medical exam validity extension for additional 12 months (new CIC Bulletin)

So what you are saying is after the application has been submitted we should wait until we are approved before having a child? We should put our whole life on hold for who knows how long could be years as some have been waiting just because it's an inconvenience. And that's why they need to...

You are correct. Before a decision made they will request a medical. But than you are pregnant so it will delay your application further. That's why they should allow medical at our convenience as long it valid for 1 year.

this medical certificate I can see present some problems for those who's spouses are pregnant. My wife's medical certificate expires in February and she's due to give birth in April. The processing time is 12 months if you applied after Dec. 7, 2016 for Vietnam and 16 months if you applied before Dec. 7, 2016. I tried Taiwan which has a processing time before Dec. 7 of 10 months. After Dec. 7m 2016 it's 12 months. Interestingly United States has a processing time of 13...

http://www.cic.gc.ca/englisH/information/times/index.asp They have the new option if you submitted it before Dec 7, 2016 and after Dec. 7, 2016. Looks like I interpreted it wrong. For Vietnam it is still 16 months wait. I've been waiting 9 months so I still got 7 months to go. But it says on...

But I also read somewhere the quota this year was 60,000 and last year was 48,000 and they mentioned 80,000 backlogged applictions. Here's the article I was referring to how they processed the backlogs. It also mentions...
