It just adds more irregularity to the already inconsistent operations of CIC. I don't think its fair that they should call to verify on one persons application then another they just reject for lack of evidence and another they ask for more documents. There is kind of no fairness in the process...

I think this is more myth than fact. I highly doubt that CIC calls employers to verify. Instead as with the CRA I find it more likely they will just reject your application if there in any doubt about you or your application and there have been many threads where this has happened and the GCMS...

Even when I submitted for GCMS notes its said its going to take longer than usual. Everything is taking longer than usual.

Fingers crossed for everybody. I think single applicants get first priority and get PPR quick to keep the processing times down.
