I applied for 2171 although my title "Information Technology Specialist" does not match the NOC, however my duties match very well with those under the NOC.

Based on the spreadsheet, more applications reached on the 7th of May than any other day. It is therefore possible that some applicants will get PER before others are even charged. Since there are no charges reported for the 8th, it's safe to assume CIC is still processing applications arrived...

I believe there are some occupations that education and experience must be aligned, such as medicine or law. However for most non-regulated occupations, choose NOC based on your experience even if your education is not aligned with that experience.

You are interpreting the information wrongly. There are 50 eligible NOC titles, and under any one of those 50 titles, CIC will accept 1,000 applications maximum. The 1,000 is the subcap.

My application was delivered to CIO today and signed for by M.KRSZWDA. I never came across that name as a recipient before. I hope FedEx delivered to the right location :P

Account can be in your name, joint with your spouse or in your spouse's name. That's the only exception, otherwise account can't be joint or in anyone else's name.
