Dear All It has been 3 weeks now since the card was mailed, and it is not yet at my old address (Vancouver, BC). Are there known current delays with Canada Post letter mails to BC? I am starting to worry - hopefully needlessly... Thanks! barabashka

Hi everyone Have anyone recently received PR card sent by mail in Vancouver area? Mine was sent Dec 29th and still nothing in the mailbox...I have also recently changed the address (and updated), so am not actually sure if the card was sent to an old or the new address. A bit tricky to monitor...

Could this be for previous tenants? PR card initial or renewal is sometimes a lengthy process, and can take several months and sometimes longer. If you have moved to this address relatively recently, as a courtesy to previous tenants, I would try to contact them to see if this is their PR card...

Thanks, steaky and scylla. I do not want to start the "chasing up" process too early, but also probably best not to postpone it too much as new tenants might just throw it away... Perhaps contacting the landlord would be the best thing to do... I made such an effort to avoid this situation, and...

I do not think this is a problem. I never used self-scanning machines, exactly for the reason that I wanted to get stamps in passport. However, I still got secondary review, despite my efforts. I also do not think they have any doubts about the fact that we met PR residency obligations -...

It does look like a big risk of being put into secondary review again if we withdraw the application and apply again. What if we do not do the withdrawal, but simply apply again? Will they return the application?

Hi All Same here - PRD "not started" after 18 months. Does anyone know what happens if we just re-apply? What if we apply again, with or without cover letter explaining that we have decided to apply for PR card renewal again since the previous application is not moving...

He could be asked to come to pick up in person, which could be a problem if he is not able to obtain TD. Also, please make sure he meets PR obligations at all times when he is abroad.
