    IRCC agent told me the same by phone - CBSA has nothing to do with it. But we know for sure they do - they even appear in GCMS notes. Seems like there is some division of CBSA that is not connected with the rest of organization.

    So today I logged in my CIC account and saw my application was updated. I clicked the details but didn't see any updates. It's exactly 4 months since my Security Screening started. I was wondering - maybe this ghost update means my medicals were prolonged? Anyone here got the same update?

    Even if CSIS has finished, it doesn't mean anything. There are applicants who's CSIS was finished in Sept 2016 and they are still 'in process'.

    I got exactly the same reply as you did several times before. I hope the new reply means something, but it also can be just wrong button pressed by the agent.

    The time of SS varies a lot, some are waiting since last June, others started SS on Dec and finished already.

    It means you have been placed to additional checks. It may be security screening. The only way to know it now is to order GCMS Notes.

    If you are PNP, nothing to be worried about, most of PNPs are getting PPRs later. If you are FSW\CEC, you probably stuck with security. You can join 6 months+ thread and whatsapp group, and I can also recommend you to get your CSIS report https://www.csis.gc.ca/scrtscrnng/index-en.php

    Yes, most probably you also stuck with security. Please share your country of origin, residence and visa office. I would recommend you to send fax to CSIS like it's described here https://www.csis.gc.ca/scrtscrnng/index-en.php and order GCMS Notes to find out what's going on with your application.
