    Your file could be selected for QA, and they are checking your experience/education/etc. You should call or email IRCC about the reasons of the delay.

    You can confirm you are under SS by doing one of the following: 1) get your GCMS notes and check if there are security screening entries under your 'activities' section 2) email your VO, if they say your case requires additional verifications, you are under SS 3) call IRCC and ask if the delay...

    You should send IRCC all the scans of your FBI request, proof of shipment etc. and share the scan from FBI website that now it takes 3-4 months to respond. So they will give you another extension. But this thread is not for questions like this.

    you can use https://www.getgcms.com/contact this service, they can contact CBSA on your behalf. Just fill the form and tell them you want to get your CBSA notes

    Officers need time to review your SS results, and agents can't see the difference until this review is done.

    That's my theory too. They find us suspicious, but can't find legal reasons to reject, so they just wait for something to come up or for us just to forget about it.

    Guys, having 4 SS entries doesn't necessarily mean your SS is passed. Some people have it and still in limbo.

    Sorry to hear about that. What was the status of your background check when you got refused? And do you know if you passed eligibility according to your GCMS notes?

    I've been at the same situation as you. And I found out I've been selected for security screening and still waiting after almost 10 months since AOR. But it can also be QA or any other check. You should order GCMS notes to find out the reason.

    What is the date your application turned to IP2? Most probably you stuck with Security Screening.

    Do you know when was your SS started? It is also written in CSIS report.
