Sponsoring US fiance and his children

We had one of those relationships too. I'm from the States and the Hubby has always been here in Canada. We did the long distance thing for years... We had a church wedding and the reception in December in Canada, and I went back to the States afterwards to finish my job. That was an awful three...

It asked for the proof of medical examination in the papers, it's item #12 on the document checklist. I was not about to send in my application without it. We (my daughter and I) had them done in the States, so I don't know of anyone up your way. So sorry I can't help. :(

They extended my visitors Visa at Immigration in Calgary!

We had a great experience with immigration in Calgary. Initially, the officer at customs was a little short and scolded us for not having filed our immigration papers yet. She even told us that we needed to get them filed or they wouldn't let me into the country, EEK! They shuffled us off to...

There are two DMPs in my area (near San Francisco), I will be paying $400 US each for my daughter and myself. The other MD said $445... He will not be doing the pap smear, but does want to see the results of a recent pap smear. Reading through the physician's forms, it is an item that they are...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

I just reviewed the entire Medical Report (IMM1017) and no where does it state that a pap smear is required. I'm all about being thorough, but a stranger doing a pap smear? Maybe not.... Yeah, the exam is pretty pricey here too. I nearly spit our my coffee when he told me how much.

FBI Approved Channeler, yay or nay? I see the question keeps coming up, but I seem to be missing the answer. My daughter and I are going through the channeler to get our checks done quickly, thinking I would then put in the request through the FBI, just in case they ask for it. I see a couple...
