Thanks! The judge said 350 people who belong to 67 different countries that will become Canadian citizens today. I don’t think they send invites based on the country of birth. It was just a general comment she made. I like the way they organzied the event, every one gets a chair with a...

While I'm happy that I received my oath taking ceremony, but, I'm devastated with the fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris :(. Please say a prayer for the 12th century structure and to the people of Paris, very sad day indeed.

That’s quite long. You should fill in a webform and ask them to schedule the ceremony. 5 months is way too long.

    july 2018, Citizen Application.

Very normal. Montreal is slow with oath ceremony. If you status says decision made, it's just about time. I think you should have your oath in May. Montreal usually gives you just two weeks notice. Hope this helps.

Tell me about it. It's going to be 4-5 months from the DM. They are still scheduling it for May applicants. I so wanted to get over this tedious process. I do not get it, what is the point making people wait while they have completed all processes.

    September 2018 - Citizenship Applicants

Yes, but I’m assuming Decision made to oath takes longer in Montreal and Calgary. So that adds up to the time.
