    Yeah! i plan to since I've completed 180 days on 12th itself. Still, I thought lemme wait for a week or two and then proceed further. From what I've heard they provide standard responses to CSEs and therefore i'm wondering would GCMS be more help than CSE :(.

    There is a high possibility you would be asked to renew the passport before issuing your PPR. Most of the visa offices needed passports with 6 months validity or more. Rarely come across any with validity period lesser than that.

    PCC- India

    If you are applying from PSK, India then it depends. I've observed that if your address was verified by the local police station while issuing your passport, then they would have the same in their records and you would get your PCC on the same day. Otherwise, it takes minimum 3 weeks.
