Scarborough office / timeline after test

It is not one officer that handles one month, there are multiple officers that handle multiple applications from multiple time periods. I can not see how a lazy officer could be getting by, his/her supervisor would definitely notice a drop in his/her quota and give him/her a good spanking to...

Scarborough office / timeline after test

Well, it could mean 1 of 2 things, either your citizenship application is DENIED, or it is APPROVED. More than likely it is the later. Keep in mind that ECAS is a very finicky system, it is outdated, it gives you limited information, it is not consistent for all applications and it can cause...

Scarborough office / timeline after test

I had my test March 19, still waiting for oath. I did notice a trend though from reading posts in this forum: I submitted my application on Oct 31 2014, and had my test March 19, 2015. There are people who had their test after March 19th and already got their oath invite, BUT these people...

Well, looks like someone is following procedures! Just fill it up and send it back to your MP's office.

Just be upfront and honest, if you got nothing fishy to hide then there is nothing to worry about that will hinder your oath. If you are worried that your file has been overlooked for oath date then tell them that.

Mine still says In Process, doesn't say Decision Made. But the officer told me after the test that my file had no issues and I would get the oath in 2-4 months. I am also travelling later this year Dec-Jan, pretty sure by then everything should be sorted out, but you never know with CIC! Please...

Scarborough office / timeline after test

Today marks 3 months since I wrote my test and was told to wait 2-4 months for oath. I will be travelling to USA for work 2 weeks straight in the next 30 days and really hope I do not get caught in a mess with oath date falling during my travel period or right before it because then I may not be...

Average time from 'Received' to 'In Process'?

Mine went straight to In Process, no "Received". See timeline below.

Thanks. I am thinking of calling CIC this week to let them know about my travel plans so hopefully they can ensure I do not have my oath date during my travel period.

And the waiting game for Pinky continues. I am worried now, I will be travelling for work to the US from June 28 to July 10, so I really hope I do not get scheduled for the Oath on July 1st or during the time I will be in US. Is any one else in a similar situation or have faced such a...

20 days too early to apply for citizenship-is it worth trying?

20 days (~3 weeks) short is a lot. Even if by some miracle you somehow managed to get your application delivered to CIC today, my gut feeling would be that it would be returned because you do not meet the citizenship requirements.

    File transferred

This is normal, once your application is screened for correctness and completeness of all documents by the Sydney office, it gets transferred to your local office for further processing. I suggest you spend some time reading and exploring the other threads in this forum and that will give you...

    LOT reappeared!

LOT is a very commonly used abbreviation in these forums. If you have something meaning full to add then do so, this is not a forum to vent your inner frustrations - with all due respect.

Same happened with me. The line which says application transferred to local office is gone. Maybe that's a good thing showing that there is some progress! I hope PINKY arrives this week for me!

Scarborough office / timeline after test

I also had some Arabic stamps (from UAE) on my passport that dated well before 2008 and some are hard to read too, however I was never questions about those stamps. My interview was literally less than 2 minutes and the male office told me everything was good and I would get my oath invite in...

    US employer working from Canada

I got clarification to my doubts above and though I would share it here. This is what my potential future employer told me: They will pay me directly to my Canadian bank account in CAD, and withhold from my pay CRA taxes such as EI, CPP, Federal Taxes, etc... The employer will submit these...

Advice pls: Citizenship application from different provinces

However the OP mentioned that Husband will be sending in Change of Address when the couple moves to the new province; so no reason for CIC to assume separation, if that even matter....

Advice pls: Citizenship application from different provinces

I do not see why that would be a problem. Because the husband applied first individually, and then the wife applies later (also individually), the two applications will be considered separate and processed separately too.
