Let's start a trend here in order to know where the problem lies; who was your interviewing officer (Give a brief description?

I was interviewed by a male, white hair, about 5'6" in height, with a small belly!

I was waiting for my interview keep posted and describe how she/he was polite/rude
nice/bad etc..

First lady I had was heavier, long dark curly hair. A mixture of nice and strict? Emotionally unavailable? lol.

Second interview I got to have (for traveling a lot - whatever) the guy was nice, bald, middle aged, and apologetic (because I never expected a "secondary interview" on the day of the test and was freaking out - however he was very fair and understood where I was coming from).

What if they read this thread? hahahaha

Hello,

I know a few people had their oath today. Please keep us posted on how did it go and how was your experience. Btw, I received my oath letter 2 weeks ago but still no update on ECAS.

You do not need to answer this way because people here at this blog try to be sympathetic and not to fun from each other.. :P :P :P :P :P :P

I had my citizenship test earlier this week (2nd June) in the Scarborough office. Passed the test, but when the officer called me over, she was coencerned that she could not read some of the arabic stamps dating back to 2008, so she asked me to get my passport translated and either mail back to her our hand deliver before 3p.m. I was able to hand deliver only the 3 arabic pages. She said she would have a look at them and get back to me if she needed anything (she was very rushed & just met me in the hallway). I asked timeline, she said 2-4 months like everyone else now that she had the documents she needed. My question to the group is anyone else who had the test in Scarborough, how was your experience? Was everyone turned away with the same ' we will get back to you in 2-4 months '? I ask because exactly 1 year ago, when my wife went for the test, she was offered oath dates by the officer asked when she would be able to attend. Wondering if they have changed the process since last year or my case is a one off thanks to the translation issue?

For most of us, March test takers, we were told to wait for 2-4 months.
