You should mention your case in the QSW section, since there would be others applying to immigration to Quebec that can help you. But also, people usually join threads that are most active, so that means the Provincial Nominee section must be really alive compared to the other sections.

Well guys, today I received my passport back with the visa issued in it and the COPR. It took about two weeks for the passport to come from Seattle to me. So tomorrow I'll be making an appointment to land at the local office.

If you have a visitor's visa to the US then you can go to Detroit in person to have the passport stamped, but it's also a good idea to mail it.

My suggestion would be that if you prefer, you will have to go to Detroit in person to get your passport stamped on the same day. Only when you get it stamped can you land at any port of entry. Otherwise you will have to mail your passport and all the other requested documents to Detroit. And...

My file was transferred to Seattle on March 1st and I received the PPR on April 25th. I applied for PR in February 2011. I will let u know about the details when I get the passport back.

Hey sorry it took so long to reply. No not yet, but my Passport reached Seattle on April 30th. So on the e-mail from Seattle, it says that it takes about four weeks to return my passport, so I will probably get it back by first week of June.
