Well, one thing you could do is to get married and then wait for awhile to see if you become a permanent resident. Then sponsor your wife. Since Buffalo is going to be shut down next month, you will now have to apply on-line. And you will either have to sponsor her through the PNP stream or the...
Well, guys, I hope that files that are in Buffalo will be transferred to the other offices. It's so strange that they are closing Buffalo as it is the main office that you send your applications to.
On another note, I landed today at North Portal. It took about 5 1/2 hours to drive there from...
Hey guys. This a question for those of you who landed in Saskatoon.
Well, On Wednesday I called the 1-888 number to make an appointment to land at the Saskatoon CIC office. The operator asked me some question and took down the information and said that it had been sent to the office in...

You should mention your case in the QSW section, since there would be others applying to immigration to Quebec that can help you.
But also, people usually join threads that are most active, so that means the Provincial Nominee section must be really alive compared to the other sections.
Well guys, today I received my passport back with the visa issued in it and the COPR. It took about two weeks for the passport to come from Seattle to me. So tomorrow I'll be making an appointment to land at the local office.
My suggestion would be that if you prefer, you will have to go to Detroit in person to get your passport stamped on the same day. Only when you get it stamped can you land at any port of entry. Otherwise you will have to mail your passport and all the other requested documents to Detroit. And...

Hey, you should post your file transfer to Seattle in that post. There are more people discussing there. Have you sent Seattle an e-mail inquiry about your file? You should be getting PPR by now.
I think that this is just sad. For the people who worked at the office in Regina but also for the people who live there and need walk-in information about immigrating to Canada.
Citizenship and Immigration to close Regina office; only Saskatoon office left

My file was transferred to Seattle on March 1st and I received the PPR on April 25th. I applied for PR in February 2011. I will let u know about the details when I get the passport back.
Hey sorry it took so long to reply. No not yet, but my Passport reached Seattle on April 30th. So on the e-mail from Seattle, it says that it takes about four weeks to return my passport, so I will probably get it back by first week of June.
Hey guys. I just want to ask this question. My passport is still in Seattle to have the Visa issued. Is it possible to book an appointment in advance at my local CIC office to have your passport stamped before I get it back, or can I make the appointment only when I get it back?
I'm asking this...
Well, others also had to apply for a Visitor's Visa so they could remain in Canada while waiting for approval of their applications. That's as much as I know...
Well, not really guys. You can either extend your current work permit by asking your employer for an LMO. There have been people who were out of employment for a few months and they still received PPR. If you do end up being unemployed then you would also have to write an explanation to the...
