I doubt the truth about the SLA of 30 days, mine is reaching 30 days in 3 days, and today is Thursday already, I'm still waiting for stamping.

Omg I can't wait 8 weeks for that! The most annoying part is that I see people who sent passports after me already received their COPRs! Anyways, hoping the best for us! I'll keep you posted!

I'm surprised that it took so long for yours, usually passports that have been sent to visa offices outside Canada is much faster. I sent my passport to Ottawa end of last month, and I'm still hearing nothing, not even approval on my CIC account. It's been 27 days. My passport has been in queue...

I don't know if there's such thing to do to expedite the process. You may be lucky to get it back in regular time frame. I'm just unlucky in general. It always takes long time for me to apply anything. lol You can take a look at this tracker to get an idea...

I think ever since CRS dropped below 450, there are way too many applicants for them to handle. It's been 26 days since I sent my passport. It's still not being approved. Can't imagine how much longer its gonna take to get it mailed out after approval. :(:eek::mad:

Well, that was because there was a progress to your application. What I'm saying is when there's no progress, they have nothing to say but ask you to wait.

calling CIC is unhelpful. All they say is "waiting for a month is not unusual."

hmmm are you sure you got fired? It sounds more like getting laid off. It's totally different.
