American applications will almost always go to Ottawa. The CIC in Mississauga decides where applications go, but nearly all who are US Outland will go to Ottawa now. The turnaround time for Ottawa is 6-12 months. :)

Photo copies of both. The only originals you need to send are police certificates. You will not receive anything you send, back. Do not send originals of the marriage certificate or birth certificates.

Not every VO sends an AOR2. Check with others with your VO to find out if yours sends it. Ottawa, for example, does not send an AOR2.

Hey Jenrhea, You can send your medicals with the application OR you can choose to wait until a CIC employee requests it. You risk your application being delayed if you don't send it up front, however. Most would recommend sending it upfront, but the choice is yours.

Bricksmith is right. Your application will be sent to the VO where you have residency, and will then be assessed in a few months for PR. How long it will take to reach a Decision Made once it arrives differs based on your specific VO.

Hey Decoy, Yes, you need to include a letter of employment (unless you own your own business, in which case you'd have to provide proof of income). I know it can be confusing. Good luck!
