I think there will be a delay because of the Coronavirus but they cant push the delay more than a month i believe or else they will really be behind. Hopefully they complete our files by the end of april or begining of may because my medical will expire in June 15th.

What does it say under your application status?

Mine says "we are processing" so probably they started processing ur file

Application received: April 2nd 2019 Biometric completed: May 30th 2019 Medical completed: June 15th 2019 File transfer to LVO: November 26th 2019 CSQ received: November 28th 2019 "We started processing your application": December 2nd 2019 AOR 2: December 4th 2019 CSQ AOR: January 14th 2020

I called MIFI and they said that they are following the AOR date. I called twice to confirm. Last week when i called the guy said its the date they receive the file. Its a longer wait now...my file will complete 12 months in 9 days

The reason why im scared is because i work at the bank and they said they might even close banks for a few days and we changed our branch hours. I was just worried that government offices might do the same

I called MIFI and asked. He said its from the day they receive your application. From what i have seen in the forum, in total its taking around 5 months to get your CSQ from the date they receive it.

I think you can get an appointment within a month. They have a different way of seeing things. A family friend was asked for an interview because they submitted their papers after 4 years of being married. It is sad to see how they are dragging our files. I wish you all the best for your...

There is a part in the application that asked if you have been married more than 2 years. I think its because you applied for your spousal sponsorship after 2 years that's why they are asking for an interview.

There hasnt been any update since 2 weeks. I think they will start processing November applicants in April

From what i have seen, people get decision made or something when it says application updated. You will receive something soon. Ur almost there :)

Honestly, its taking time for alot of applicants. Just pray they complete our files within 12 months. Im not expecting anything until May
