My question to you is minus your 12K that your parents transferred to you, how did you manage to fill in the short of 3000 from Jan onwards? Was it gradual or just a lump sum of 3K++? I can't say for sure but anything BIG sum like 3k++ would require some explanation on how you got that money...

From what I know, they prefer email for all other docs except police cert. Police cert, you'll need to send by mail as they require the actual original hard copy. I can't find the link that says this right now. Will share the link later when I manage to find it.

Hi Guys, I just got my certificate of good conduct (police cert) reissued by my embassy as my previous one had only 6 mths tied to it. Should I proactively send it to CPP-O or wait for them to request me to submit? What are your thoughts?

I can't tell you how much I agree with on that statement. It really depends on your luck. If the officer wants to, they can find the smallest problem with your application and make it a big one. So, yea, there's alot depending on one's luck too...

Since the due date was written as 04/08/2013, most likely they drafted the mail on the 03/08/2013, last friday and put the email to auto send off on Sunday. No one in Canada, more so a government servant would work on a Sunday :)
