If I were you I would file for custody,if you both end up sharing custody,then you can file for Humanitarian and Compassionate!....There is a high chance they would grant it to you!!!!....I know someone who did this,they are PR now!!!!!!...good luck

Like I wrote before,I've been able to work with an expired WP while waiting for a new one!!!-My sin was fine,as a matter of fact I never did go to service Canada to renew it even after I got my new WP :-[....So I reckon even if its expired you can still use it!!!

Your receipt of payment is proof,you can also print out the page that states if you sent your application before your valid one expired you can continue to work until you get your new one as proof incase your job asks!!!.....I've done it before!

Your child will be able to attend school no problem,they don't even ask about the status when you apply,my daughter is going to grade seven and has attended school here since day one and we've never been asked about her status,we are waiting for our sponesorship application!!!....So don't you worry
