Did you receive an automated response that they would not answer any question regarding application process? The email address is only intended to report if you have any problem with the citizenship test schedule. I don’t think that should be the way to ask for update of the application.

the email usually comes on the first date of the window. Even you don’t get the email but if it’s still there you should call so they can fix it for you. I’m just afraid if you ignore it, miss it it may affect your test status eventually.

If you are scheduled again then you may receive another activation link on the first date of the test window just like what happened to me (I didn’t get scheduled for test again I’m talking about receiving they link on the first date of the test window) It’s all your choice you can wait or call...

Is your test status still “completed”? Or it got changed back to “in progress”? I think it’s just a glitch but you may need to call IRCC to let them know so they can fix it for you.

Once the test is validated and the status changed from “in progress” to completed and you got a passed grade during the test (15 or more/20 right) you are done, move on. Unless...

I understood it as the same way you say. Completed means result is already validated either passed or failed if you got more than 15 answers right then you passed, if not then you failed and they will give you another attempt then maybe test will be changed back to “in progress” if you failed...
