Manila does not reply to emails. I've sent emails months ago and just got auto replies. How are people supposed to apply if they can't ask questions. How archaic are they anyway?! This site has been 100 times more helpful than Manila. We decided months ago to wait for the PR here in Korea.

Bart, sorry to hear about all the red tape. Its extreme for a DUI to have such impact on a PR. If anything, it should only affect getting a drivers permit ( if that ). It's really creating undue hardship in my opinion.

We had a similar request back in Nov. We submitted it ( email and courier ) 2 days later. That was the last we heard from Manila.

Medical Exam after 12 month mark: Will a request for a new medical exam be sent or emailed at the 12 month mark? I read somewhere about medical a being extended, etc.

Thought I'd post an update. Nothing from Manilla since the appendix request last Nov. Almost 11 months now since applying.

I'll be sending off what I hope are the last docs. to Manila tomorrow. Then waiting for COPR. This should be my final post on here. Thanks to everyone for helping out on here. Good Luck.

Visa Package = COPR. They don't send any further email notifications for COPR? Just wait til courier shows up with COPR?

Appendix A: On the bottom left corner of the form there is a box with: " address where visa package can be sent by courier". Does this mean COPR? or PR Card? thx

Will be couriering the above tomorrow since original forms are required. The next email from Manila will be COPR. Does COPR arrive by email or snail mail?
