I told them I had "We sent you a letter about the decision ..." message showing but haven't received any e-mail. She was kind enough to ask me all the security questions and do the check. Then she told me I was approved. Another thing, I get home from work yesterday and find a letter from them...

So finally I got to talk to this nice lady from the CIC and she tells me I got approved as a sponsor on January 24th! I never got the approval e-mail and my ecas still says in process >:( Anyway, it's good news.

does your ecas now say decision has been made? did they update it at all?

Did anybody else get "We sent you a letter on [date] about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us." for their AOR e-mail? I am so tempted calling them again.

I guess it's usual for mail to travel from Mississauga to Toronto more than a week. They could be sending mail once a week - Thursday :)

That would be awesome, they approve me the same day they started processing my application - sounds too good to be true. "We sent you a letter on January 24, 2013 about the decision on your application." might refer to an email with UCI number

She took her medical on Nov 22 2012. The sponsorship is still "In process" status, you think I should expect something in the mail? I did receive an e-mail with my UCI number on Jan 25.
