Do you guys think it's a good idea to apply for a visitor visa for my wife now? She got rejected for it back in the December, but I wasnt approved as a sponsor then, maybe now it would be different?

Is it a rule that everyone switches to "In Progress" before the passport request, or is it possible to receive one while still in "Application Received" status? Also which ecas to check, mine as a sponsor or the ecas of the person being sponsored? Thanks

The person on the phone with your wife might be wrong, I don't understand why would they keep it away from their website. The point of a strike is to make it public no?

For my wife the status is still 'Application Received'. Now i know ecas is unreliable, so is there a possibility that they are actually working on her file just haven't changed it to 'In Progress'. Has anybody received a PPR while still in 'Application Received' ecas status?

What you guys think how realistic is having a PPR in the next month? I filed January 4th and got the AOR from Vienna Feb 25th. I just need a number, 5%... freakin .5% ... give me something to chew on! :-\ (vala popizde!)

on my wife's ecas the mailing address doesnt have the country in it. Only street, postal code and city. The country should be Serbia. Is this something you think i should call them about?

Some of the times on the Vienna spreadsheet are crazy. AOR to PPR in less than a month :o ? Anything specific about these or is it just random?

Wife got an email today with UCI number. That should be good news.

Took mine more than 2 weeks to arrive from Mississauga to Toronto. Good news is that in the same time they forward your application to the foreign office.
