    Your GCMS notes are basically images (snapshots) of their document. So a PDF reader cant search for keywords, for example "due date". If you open it thru Google Drive it will try to optically recognize the letters and allow you to perform text functions on it select, search, copy etc. Useful...

    Can you explain it better? Are you saying they might not require the new medical? How did it extend your process?

    If you upload that pdf file to Google Drive you can do a search on it. Google all mighty uses optical recognition.

    If that's true then my case won't be over anytime soon. My wife's GCMS notes from December say that they haven't started the security or criminality checks. We applied Jan 7

    Does anybody know if they keep GCMS notes up to date? Is it possible that they have been doing something with an application but just haven't updated GCMS notes at that time?

    Right. That's what I said, your application must not be in the same state as if you had applied from the beginning. If that's the case there are no words to describe how broken the system is.

    I think your application mustn't be in the same state as if you've withdrawn your original application (common law) and then filed a new one (marriage). With that scenario you'd expect it to be at the end of the queue. Best
