Kinda sneaky. I checked my cic again it went back to the same status before updated. So it's like a ghost update. No email no nothing. But i took a screenshot.

Oh wow... thats what i figured out. It took her that long to get hers. My husband was born in here he is Canadian by birth, maybe thats different case. Guess they approve ur wifes mine as well yours. Thats very good for u guys. ;)

They might still check your wifes background but then your wife is qualified for permanent resident. I saw another person in this forum got the same thing. But is this the update after you received notice for background check?
