As long as u submitted it, ur cic will change status to re Oh, i did not receive approve in principal. Where did u receive that? As long as u submitted it, i m sure they will update ur status to "received" soon. Stay tuned. ;)

Hi there, they asked me on may 15, the day they started processing my background check. They required me to submit using ircc web enquiry form, so i followed exactly what they asked, and they processed pretty quick too.

Can you get your finger print from the embassy since ur in ottawa? Like Chinese, they can get their finger print at the embassy. It varies from countries.

Thank you very much. I read cic website says it depends on what country, if you are from those specified countries then you will be asked. I already did my finger prints twice recently for obtaining my security clearance for my work, idk if that counts? They did not ask me for fingerprint only...

Also, anyone knows that can I go do my fingerprint before they ask for it? So that it saves their time? My background check is currently being processed, they asked for police certificate and i already got one and will submit shortly. Thinking submit my finger print upfront as well. Thanks.

Getting driver license is not hard, go do G1 test then u got ur license.

When did you get your medical done? It should be taking 7 - 10 days from the time you did it to the time it appears pass on cic. Is yours an A grade? I requested a report being sent to me as well so that i know what is going on. If yours is not A grade for the comment, it might take some time...
