I think it could take longer if you married or lived with your partner less than 2 years. It will take time to authenticate your marriage or relationship. For background check, i think as long as you will not be posting risk to Canada.

Yes. I got half of the updates at night. Between 7 to 10 something like that. Every hour is so hard working. Cannot keep it up with hourly but a few times a day esp at the final stage.

I checked my application again this morning, it has a ghost "updated" at the current status again and now went back to the submitted status.

Yes. I don't usually "being excessive" with my cic account, lol Just happened to check and found out. But i m sure everyone will get approved soon as the minister also announced yesterday that he promised to ease the PR process.
