I have seen CIC taking a call on medical extensions etc. if You don't hear back on redoing medical, likely because you are on last stages of processing.

    Mexico

Your extension for medicals would be determined by CIC. If CIC requires you to redo medicals, you have to follow procedure, unless there is reason not to do so.

OLD IN PROCESS VS NEW IN PROCESS ON ECAS EXPLAINED

In our Case, we got this email along with police clearance request. Nowadays, CIC appear to be sending "pre-orientation" forms in earlier stages.

    Need reassurance

Nope, and you need letter from embassy. Document checklist will not serve as official request. Mexico shut down giving PGR certificate to people few years back without official letter. For a citizen, without official request, there is no way to get PGR as far as i know.Importantly PC is valid...

    Need reassurance

Just FYI - Scylla, police check for Mexico PA will not be submitted along with original package to Mississauga, since PGR ( Federal Police Certificate ) from Mexico is valid only for 30 days. And to apply, Mexico VO has to send official letter requesting for the same. PGR does not issue police...

PGR does "apostille" and legally speaking is different from translation. Canada hasnt signed hague treaty, and therefore apostilled document is not valid in Canada. When we inquired on translation, they did mention that we would need to privately do it. My wife is doing translation at mexico...

Where should I forward documents after AOR2?

Depends , there are many countries where you can't get police clearance certicate with "decent" validity. In such cases, CIC has guidelines in place, where they send official letter requesting police clearance at "later" time. Babymistycat- police clearance request letter will have the mailing...
