Hold on for 1 reason. - Since its been only 2 weeks since you submitted the doc, it would make sense to order GCMS notes sometime around Mid-Dec.

This forum is good place to learn many things. BF'D is often very important data many applicants look into, in GCMS notes. This gives applicants an approximate date, and officer is expected to work on his file on BF'D. And presumably, pass the updates to applicants ( in the form of PCC, addntl...

30 day/60 day deadline + 7 day mailing is your BFD - Bring Forward Date. This means, that if they request your documents through mail and expect you to send your documents with in 30 days, the file goes to lead officer as a reminder on 37th day. Typically this serves as reminder for your lead...

Eligibility will be ongoing and is done by officer 1/officer 2, security by officer3/officer 4 etc. it is incorrect to think the file will be assessed by a single person. They are typically independent functions. Your criminality and security will be started after you send your documents..But...

I think once AOR2 stage is over, they start looking into eligibility along with other docs. It also depends on complexity. In my case I got the request in around 9 weeks.

SA timelines have been consistent for last 3 months - 25-40 days. For the applicants submitted in May, it took more than 2 months for SA to arrive, since visa officers across the globe were given additional responsibility for prioritizing other applications. I was one of them who got caught on...

Yep, you will get AOR2 approximately 1-2 months from now. Atleast these are the recent AOR2 timelines for Mexico City applicants.

Normally they start after eligibility is determined. I assume they would start in next few weeks. I do not have GCMS notes to verify this, but normally security and criminality is not done by CIC. Eligibility undergoes 2 reviews, one at Mexico and one at Mississauga. And my guess is Mexico...
