i would suggest give the dates atleast 3 weeks prior to your trip since if the oath is scheduled at the last moment then you will have to run around to expedite the passport process..

Just get you PR renewed as you dont know when they will schedule for oath. Call up call centre and explain the situation or write a letter to CIC office telling the same. If no reply then you are better off renewing your PR.

No unfortunately they do not tell that as it depends upon the office where the application is and all they told me was there are hundreds of applications lined up and its difficult for the officer to comment. All she said was there is no issue with my application and a decision has been made...

there are 14 ceremonies scheduled for month of June for Scarborough, i hardly see any one acknowledging receipt of oath letters. Wonder which month's applications are they processing.

No finger print request.. I called up cic yesterday and they said everything looks good on the file and and only schedule of oath is remaining.. I am not sure what is happening... Even the oath invite lettee is good enough for me to know i will be scheduled for an oath and will save my time and...

There are Jan and Feb DMs who are still awaiting oath letters.. many people who applied in October have recd their oath letters. (there could be exceptions).
