Hi MumbaiIndian, I was wondering that you got the rejection email from Sydney or Ottawa? If you got it from Ottawa then why did not Sydney verify this basic requirement fufillment and sent you AOR? If you got it from Sydney, then it means they are processing some files at their destination...

Sorry for rejection, but dont you think this is weird. You got AOR from Sydney and they told you that your file would be moved to Ottawa for further processing, but they kept the file and after a week of in-process, they sent you the rejection!!!! I also know one person on this forum who applied...

Yeah, at least we can track that who is passing the eligilibity, the CIO or the CPP-O?! I will order my GCMS notes next week. Also, this situation does not apply for pre-2013 applicants because in those cases we know eligibility is done by CPP-O only.

Then, it means if they hold file more than 6 months then there are 90% chances of positive news instead of rejection. This is a great initiative taken by CIC as it saves time of the applicant. Also, I think that Sydney review is much more than a casual look towards the completeness of the file...

It seems Ottawa is working quietly on all the files coz this person got refusal yesterday and his status was Application Received only. Also, he got AOR on 31st May. It is also a good sign as they are rejecting after 1 month or so instead of taking 8-9 months just to declare refusal. So, guys...

I understand this point but my duties are matching 90% of this NOC code which i did not find under any other noc code. Can i send an explanatory letter that I worked for a very small company and i handled the marketing + assistant manager responsibilties?
