No, you are still considered student. Your experience will be counted as per the date of issue of your work permit.

Please note also that Canadian work experience requirement must be in the last 3 years before you apply. For example, if you apply 2020, Canadian work experience that will be counted is from 2017-2019

Just take note that under CEC, your work experience will not be counted if you are a full-time student.
