Well it is almost midnight in Ontario and so far there is no update (July 26 applicant). Still "In process". Let's see tomorrow Friday what happen.

Hi Olimia, is CIC sending Passport Request to Express Entry applicants these days? Do they have to send the passport by Canada Post? I had the impression that PPR are not being released because of the Canada post strike (not sure just speculating).

If CIC continues at the same pace as in the last weeks most probably you will get PPR (or at least DM) by mid November. Fingers cross!

It seems that the last report of someone getting PPR is from October 19th. Definitely something is going on inside CIC (probably related to Canada Post strike?). Has someone received PPR these days? Please post you updates!

Did the agent give you a hint of why PPRs are taking more time than usual? Did they mention something about Canad Post service disruption?

Probably, it is suspicious that the DMs are being accumulated for the last 1.5 weeks and they do not send the PPRs. I remember that in previous months it usually took a couple of days from DM to PPR.

Hopefully today we will have PPR-rain. There are a lot people already with "Decision Made" status waiting!! I think the latest AR date with DM reported here in the forum is July 14 (is someone with AR later than July 14 and DM around? ) so half of July applicants are almost done. Keep posting...

Yes, I feel the same. If you check the forums for April, May and June applicants (june forum was deleted by the way) you will see lots of people commenting and posting timelines. Probably there are less July applicants. In my case I was nominated oinp in May 2017 so I could apply for PR in May...
