    Yes you are right, but than means that at least for those provinces there is still a guy sitting on his desk processing his bunch of applications. The guy assigned to process Ontario probably is already enjoying life in the Bahamas getting ready for Christmas and New Year parties!

    PPR last Thursday? wow! at least other provinces (MB, NS, AB) are getting some progress. Hopefully before Christmas someone at CIC will remember that Ontario applicants are still sitting here and waiting :(

    Those folks from Manitoba and PEI who got PPR this week got DM+PPR the same day, one of them had no ghost update or anything before, so let's hope the best!

    Thanks! You know what, if by december 17 I do not have PPR yet, I will have break and visit my family in my country of origin. I think we all need a break, CIC is driving us crazy!! too much stress!!:confused:

    Yes, for some strange reason they are delaying PPRs and DM. My impression is that they already processed all july, now they are processing aug and sep. They are just waiting to receive the order to send DM and PPRs. Definetely something changed, I remember that for april-June applicants...

    Well at least people is getting ghost updates, that means CIC is working in the applications. Hopefully they will release the next batch of PPRs and DMs soon, probably the releasing of PPRs is already scheduled for next week, who knows, keep positive and keep posting updates!

    As far as I know, none from July 25 onwards has DM, all still "in progress".

    Yes it is possible. I remember several May and June applicants who got PPR before DM. Status changed to DM 1 or 2 days later. Actually I remember an applicant asking here in the forum if his application had been approved or not because he got PPR while his status was still in progress.
