Dixiechic, Go to ur local bank where you purchased the DD and they will help. If they don't, u may also confirm from the correspondent bank in Canada. You will see the bank n DD details on the copy of the DD.

No, u have to state when your current visa expires. if you have observed, cic requires information on what you had or have and not what you anticipate in the future which is entirely uncertain.

whoever in Cic should stop this joke! my application was received May 12 and up till this moment my ecas status is 'you cannot be identified'. I used a DD hence cannot confirm if payment has been charged. I am getting frustrated.
