FSW/CEC Inland Guys - Need some insight! I have recently got my Canadian WP renewed. Am I supposed to update CIC about this? If yes, what's the process to update the record?

It's a good sign that your file is being processed.. calling an employer for verification during BG check is quite usual (not a mandatory one, though).

It's a good idea to apply for GCMS to decide the application for PNP. I just ordered mine. Are you applying for OINP?

Have you ordered GCMS just to know the current status or to find out your R10? I'm also planning to order one.

You need not to do anything unless it is a permanent move out of Canada, in case which you have to update your relocation with CIC. Enjoy your holidays! On a lighter not - What kind of employer gives a 3 month leave holding you on payroll? lucky you! :)

I haven't received any email.. considering the other FSW (Inland) AORs' from December and January, I'm not expecting PPR anytime before April 2nd/ 3rd week. I'll keep you guys posted if there is any progress in my file.

I called CIC call centre for other purpose and before hung up, I asked them about VO where my PR is currently processed. They told it's with Ottawa VO. They wouldn't say anything more than this quoting "your file has not crossed 6 month timeline, so we can't tell you about the current status"

Thanks for your words. My NOC is 2173 and I got to know my file is being processed at Ottawa VO. I follow yours' and JoacRy profiles closely, We have almost similar timelines. Wish, we get PPR sooner than soon :) Best!

Looks like CIC has started undusting my file after a month's' break. My BG has gone into 'In Progress' today.

Hi Bhavya, CIC will be interested only at your Canadian Equivalent of your highest degree and any other diplomas you did post secondary education. Never bother about your 10th/ 12th grade. Best! Hem

They just consider Canadian equivalency of your highest degree.. If you have submitted ECA of your highest degree, you're good enough. You don't need to submit proofs of all your education history. Good luck!
