    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Make sure you scan your documents at a low quality (around 100dpi should be clear enough and result in a small enough file size). For photos there really isn't a lot you can do without submitting five hundred separate case specific enquiries. I would submit those by mail and make sure you state...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Normally you'd be able to log in as the sponsor following AOR using either their UCI or the application reference number (F00######).

All any of us can give you is a best guess. The joint bank account being opened today shouldn't be a problem provided it's not your only evidence. It's important that you can find other documents in your and your partners names corresponding to the time you have stated living together. For my...

Agreed, it's not an uncommon situation for someone to still have accounts etc in a maiden name.

Providing you don't rely on ONLY that, you should be fine. Submit anything that you can with BOTH names on and supplement with stuff that has one or the other with the same address.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

I know a few of the early May applicants have had news (apps received around May 6-8 2015) but don't think they are updated on the spreadsheet yet. You'll see them if you check the last couple of pages on this thread though. I haven't personally called CIC despite hitting 16 months for two...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Provided you updated your address with CIC you should be fine. Most if not all communication seems to be by email anyway.

That sounds very much like the Landing Interview! Congratulations!

Ha ha my mind went exactly there too, this is finally exciting instead of excruciating!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Hey, congratulations on getting DM! Out of interest, when in May did CIC get your application? Regarding your passport I would contact CIC just to be on the safe side, likely a typo but better safe than sorry.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Have now hit 16 months exactly and still no AIP... Is there really any point in calling to enquire?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

AOR is acknowledgement of receipt - basically an email telling you that the application was received. In your case you've already had a police certificate request, so even if you didn't get AOR it's pretty clear that your application is in process. In terms of why it's taking so long the...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

CIC's processing times page shows that inland applicants should see AIP within 16 months of applying. I'm just curious whether anyone who applied prior to 16 months ago (May 9th 2016 or before) have spoken to the call centre and been given any further information?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

If you're possibly not going to be available for an appointment you need to contact the landing office as soon as possible. All inland applications require a landing appointment. No landing appointment = no COPR

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Hey, I feel your pain. It's unlikely that you've missed anything from them based on your timeline (many march - august apps are only just starting to see news). With that said, ordering your GCMS notes is a good start - they'll take about a month to arrive. I have a close timeline to yourself...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Got my GCMS notes yesterday. Nothing particular to note other than seeing that my file is part of the Inventory Reduction Programming (SIR). Medical is marked as Passed - Expired so I'm hoping they won't make me retake as it's not exactly cheap.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Nothing to be concerned about - a number of applications were transferred from CPC M to CPC V to help clear the backlog of applications. Simply follow the instructions provided in your email re submitting it to them :)

Haha, congratulations! I guess CIC must have seen your posts over here :)

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015

Hard to say for sure - some people see DM the same day, some a few days later and some don't hear anything at all until they get a letter for the landing interview. That said, you won't have long to wait now :) When did CIC actually receive your application out of interest?
