Hahaha I hear you. Having the visa in hand still wasn't enough for my husband. He didn't exhale til we left the airport and he walked out onto Canadian soil. And even then for about a week every time the phone rang we'd think it was POS calling to say "just one more thing..."

I'm pretty sure they're closed today, as it is a government holiday in Canada. That list is not complete, for example Republic Day and Indian Arrival Day are missing. I think they just don't want to show online how many holidays they really get.

I've never seen it acceptd anywhere. When I go to TnT I usually travel with some US dollars and then stop at an ATM as soon as I get in. He can use one right at the author to get TT dollars

Congrats Miss Dca and Dazdin! So happy you guys finally heard something and are moving along! @Miss Dca, I agree with bringing in all your TRV refusals as proof of your attempts to be together. Regarding your ongoing communication documents, really focus in on anything that shows growth in your...

Hmmm...sorry, I'm not familiar with a travel permit as being different from a TRV. Maybe do a search on the forum to see if anyone else has experience with this? Generally having a PR application in process does not change the requirements for entering the country (i.e. TRV), nor does being...

Given that you're quite early in the process, it likely won't affect your processing, as realistically your file is most likely in the queue at POS still. However, when sending additional proof, make sure it really is "additional" It should add something substantial to your file and you should...

Hi Queen, Not entirely sure what you're asking. If you're wondering whether or not your husband will need to apply for TRV while waiting on the outcome of a PR application, if he is from a country requiring a visa to enter Canada, then the answer is yes, he will go through the same TRV process...

Shouldn't make a difference. Each request is assigned a unique number, so there's little to no chance of them mixing them up. Also, since they general pull your note about a week after you request them, odds are they've already processed the first request. If you were requesting the physical...

If they sent the letter to Canada it could take 3-4 weeks from the date the letter was printed until it's received. Easiest way to avoid all this is just to pay your fees upfront

Yeah, that's the norm. Like I said, we only knew because we asked in a separate email. The COPR will also include your precise "land by" date.

It won't affect it however, if you're able to wait until he receives his Canadian PR, I would recommend doing so. As a PR, his chances of being approved for a US visa are greatly improved, since he'd be able to show strong ties to a comparable country, i.e. no reason at all to overstay in the...
