That's simple - definitely Jan 5. They no longer receive packages since Jan 16. How can they accept something on Jan 26? I think this is a positive step that someone has finally touched that pile, which means there's still hope for Jan 5 applications to make the cap. Fingers crossed!

For those with Canada Post and delivered on Jan 5 AM, I have some updates for you. My package was showing "out for delivery" forever until...... yesterday. YES, it was confirmed delivered YESTERDAY, and signed for by "A ZICARELLI". What does that mean? Sounds to me the agent was finally touching...

Almost guaranteed to return. It's like not authorizing CIC to withdraw money.

How would that be a strain on tax payers? The healthcare is paid by tax payers, and the domestic majorities do not want to cover those visitors, or immigrant parents, who do not contribute tax directly into the system. You can argue that you have been paying taxes for many years, and other...

Don't deal with CIC. Talk to your bank! Understand what transactions were considered "compromised", and see if you made those transactions. If they were authorized transactions, then ask your bank to remove restrictions on your card. The worst scenario is your card was indeed compromised. There...

I was upset earlier but not today. I have tried the best that I possibly can. I checked every single bit of all the forms for at least 5 times, and I sent out the package on Dec 31. I asked the rep of Canada Post 3 times if it's guaranteed to deliver on Jan 2, and the answer was extremely...

According to some report, they try 3 times... good luck.

My sympathy... Not any remediation I can think of. Here's the instruction guide: CIC will return your application in all of the following circumstances: The Fee Payment Form – for Sponsors of Parents and Grandparents (IMM 5770) is not included in your application; Fees are not paid by...

Wow. Sounded even worse than Canada Post. I hope you guys all get in the 5000 cap. Fake time stamp is totally unacceptable.

Seemed Purolator has followed suit and quickly became the second worst courier service for time sensitive documents.

This makes sense. Can't envision a scenario when they receive 10 applications in bulk delivery but only with 5 spots left. In that case, I'm sure they get all 10 processed.

Wish you the best, but have you not followed this thread? Canada Post is the least wanted courier service, and followed by Purolator being close second.

You're pumping in some negative energy, my friend. Realistically, there's no way it's totally filled up in the first 4 hours. The Immigration office would be embarrassed if the quota runs out in the first 2-3 days.

"Out for delivery" since Jan 5, 11:24AM.

I don't think so. If the spread sheet is representative, about 55% of the applications reached on Jan 2.

That's what Canada Post told me as well. But your tracking certainly looked more complete. Congrats again and at least we get some hope.

"By now"? My speculation is it's pretty much filled up by now. We try to figure out when that date was... if not Jan 2.

Congrats! Did your tracking show "out for delivery", or "delivered"? Did you have signature? Many of us with Canada Post were worried due to missing of signature and incomplete status ("out for delivery" forever). Hope you can provide some reference. Thanks.

I don't understand how this time stamp was placed in the tracking. There's no way it was by the scanner. They must manually typed that time in.
