You can't. We actually live in the UK and I've been here for 9.5 years (although, I believe I could have applied after three years of receiving my Indefinite Leave to Remain) Being married to a Brit gives you an in, but you have to fulfill the residency requirements.

It will take a while to settle. Don't get discouraged. It took me ages to settle into life in the UK. Just talk to people, they'll go crazy for your accent ;)

ToqueEh, just an update. I spoke to Manns today and mentioned that you had been referred to Excess International. They clarified that they tend to recommend them as a cheaper alternative if you are only shopping a boxes rather than an entire household of furniture etc.

I believe you have either until your medical expires or your passport expires. Whichever is sooner. Our CoPR actually says when we have to land by. Takes the guess work out ;)

Try not to worry, ecas is not overly reliable. Our application never showed "in process". We just went straight to decision made.

As far as I know, they remove all clips when they receive the application. We sent ours with paper clips, but it was for our own organisation rather than theirs.
