Hello, I had the same case. I do not think there is a sponsor letter format. I attached my sponsor's bank statement and a letter written and signed by the bank stating that my sponsor is going to cover my expenses. Note: My visa was approved.

if you made a deposit, u might have a stronger application but it will not guarantee a visa. Check with other indian guys.

Wait till the university sends you an email confirmation that they received the official transcript and then apply with the conditional offer and a copy of the confirmation email. Btw, which country are you applying from?
