Yes, I know all of this. I am the wife. The one immigrating. my only concern is the time it takes. Everything else I know. I have been reading, dealing with lawyers, and CIC, CBSA for 10 years now so I'm pretty sure I have a clue. The reason for my grip I guess is the same as everyone else...

Well I can tell you that we asked every question possible to CIC and not a word about it. We HAVE done all the reading and asking for years as we have been dealing with this for years...thank you very much. I know the immigration laws and rules and probable more than most unless you are a CBSA...

No I haven't, I only check online CIC, and ECAS. There is no updates.....EVER! They requested my medical in June and was sent day after their request....but apparently they give 30 days to send it in, and they WAIT 30 days to even look at it.....same with FBI background check...you get 90 days...

Ya....I was told Open Work Permits are only for those that have applied inland for PR. Otherwise you would need to apply for a work permit and have a job offer with LMO!!?? Been unemployed 2 years waiting for PR....sent March 2017....still waiting and still unable to work and not eligible for...
