Thanks @+Hummingbird+. However I am not getting hung up on this and I realise there is not rule as to the sequence of updates by CIC. But until I see eligibility passed I will worry because that alone pretty much determines if I will be granted PR since the security screening part is not reven...

I do not understand why CIC would ask to pay the RPRF, then change BGC to IP2 all the while the eligibility is not yet completedt. Can anyone advise on what I should make of the eligibility...

Hi everyone. I know a pr needs 730 days of physical presence in Canada to maintain status. However I seem to recall that in any period of 1 year the pr needs to spend 6 months in Canada. Is that correct? I can't find this info anymore on cic.

I just got the RPRF email and am wondering if it is a good sign or not as the email states: The eligibility and admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is currently in process. Can someone weigh in on this.

Did CIC stop informing applicants about updates? I mean I got medical passed, got a UCI and no email about any of it, no email from CIC at all actually. Second, can someone point to a clear background check statuses definition/descriptions? For some reason my search function is not working. tia
