Express Entry Points with Spouse | Points Very Low

those two draws were not targeting CEC. Most people applying under CEC do not have an LMIA as it wasn't a requirement previously. Therefore most CEC applicants are not getting those extra 600 points. Those two draws only took LMIA holders, who are mainly Federal skilled trades workers & maybe...

yep, you'll need a police cert from Botswana. From anywhere you spent over 6 months since turning 18. well, if you need an educational credential assessment, you need to submit a copy of your degree(s) so if you need that assessment I'd be getting the duplicate.

    IELTS v/s CELPIP

Everyone that speaks English as a first language has to do it, not just Australians. Believe me there's nothing funny about paying $300 to prove that you can speak your native language.. sorry, that particular rule pisses me off

bloody hell, do you really think they'd open themselves up to a lawsuit from thousands of people? its highly unlikely. yes the information could have been released sooner but they didn't break any law by not doing so, besides which, by applying for PR, you have to abide by their terms, and i'd...

    EE Profile Ineligible

I think its coming up ineligible because your IELTS score isn't high enough for the NOC code you're entering. retake IELTS, get overall of 7 and it should work.

    EE Profile Ineligible

jesus, you can't just go switching noc codes to make it work. you need to enter the correct codes for your job otherwise you're misrepresenting yourself.

    Law Suits on CIC !

ok seriously, your lawyer is guessing, he has no confirmation from anywhere that they will accept everyone who scores above 380 and while it might end up being true it also might not, so spreading this round isn't helpful.

my cec application came back and my work permit expired in january.

380? where are you pulling that number from, it seems pretty low? I'd honestly be surprised if they went below 400 for EE...

    Law Suits on CIC !

the situation might be different but the premise is the same, they can do what they like and there's nothing you can do about it.

    Law Suits on CIC !

won't make a difference even if there are lawsuits. Remember they just returned hundreds of thousands of applications a few years back because of the backlog - some of those people had been waiting years. No law suit then made any difference, won't now either.
