Thanks for your support. Not everything had to be taken literally :). Anyone with common understanding will get the point :) And I wasn't being mean or anything, but when things are being asked over and over again, it is normal that some people get frustrated after a while, when it is just being...

Hey all, I was wondering whether Mississauga sends out an acknowledgment that they received the payment for the RPR? If so, do they send it per email or per mail? Thank you :)

Conjugal Partner Sponsorship (Married-yet to divorce-then sponsor)

My bad, I thought s/he meant "common-law" Conjugal partner This category is for partners—either of the opposite sex or same sex—in exceptional circumstances beyond their control that prevent them from qualifying as common-law partners or spouses by living together. A conjugal relationship is...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

No, don't worry, it happens. Once it cleared the customs department in New York, it was probably put on the wrong truck. It will be redirected and then put on the right truck and then delivered to the consulate :) Calm down, no need to be worried, it'll get there :)

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

go on www.usps.com and enter the same number there. Whenever the mail gets to the US, you can track the step-by-step timeline on the US website. I sent mine with registered mail from Canada and once it crossed the border I was able to check it on the US website. Look on there to see if it says...

Sponsorship denied but has a 1 year Visitor Record

no, income has nothing to do with a refusal. I am a student, with NO income and my sponsorship got approved. There is no income requirements for spousal sponsorships, even though you are supposed to send them income information. My lawyer told me that and showed me the text in a massive book...

    Update from Bucarest Embassy

page 4 on that link...Clearly states what I mentioned. They want an original. I have been through CSQ myself... Scanned pages sent per email are NOT accepted... http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/4000E_A.pdf

    Update from Bucarest Embassy

disagreed! When you get the CSQ there is one that clearly states that one is for CIC and the OTHER ONE is a copy for you. I had sent a copy of that and they told me to send the original that states "for CIC" at the bottom......

Marrying outside of country and getting trv before pr is approved!

It'll be denied, as TRP stands for TEMPORARY resident permit. If she is married to a Canadian citizen (have to write it in the application) she won't be able to prove that she will go back to South Africa. The Canadian embassy will see this as a way of finding an immigration shortcut.

Sponsorship denied but has a 1 year Visitor Record

There is no need in reapplying for sponsorship, as it will only be reassessed if his/her circumstances change. Given that there are no income requirements for sponsoring spouses, it could only have been denied if s/he is on welfare in Canada, has a family member that would cost too much for...
