You can check with your bank on the dd encashment status. NDVO does not update you anything regarding the RPRF encashment. In case if they are not able to encash they will for sure call or email you.

Congrats. I would suggest you to use VFS for safe transmission and return of your Passport.

They will trasfer the pysical file as well. Because when I received my Passport back with the Visa from NDVO, they sent me the unused photos that I submittited to the CIO with the initial application. I received a total of 4 photos + 1 on the CORP Letter. Hope this helps.

First you should receive PER and later when the file is transferred to your local Visa Office, you will receive the AOR. For PER it takes around 3 months from the date of your application. So, I believe you should wait till Jan/Feb to get an update on your application.
