Visa has the same expiry date as your medical report. The medicals are valid for a year.

It usually happens once the passport is stamped. Vfs in India uses blue dart for courier service. 24 hours are enough for them to send to Delhi. I got mine the next day after it was dispatched from Delhi. May be you are lucky....you'll get your passport earlier!
