cic call centre agent confirmed today that the quota for cec has been reached meaning my application will be returned. my work permit expires in april. ive got only 2 months left and my employer wouldnt do LMIA! what to do now??? this is a miserable situation!

hey guys i just called the call centre and the agent confirmed that the cap has been reached as of oct 20th. she was very confident and she said that they received the internal notification about this on Jan 29th.

can you please share the reason they returned your application?

i had called the cic call centre and the agent said he has no information about the cap being reached. he advised to email them after 10 weeks counting from the application receipt date for any status inquiry.

I think you are safe because you signed the application before the update took place.
