Thank-you so much for your reply. You have given me so much relief as I am in the same situation and was concerned perhaps they never received them.

No you won't recieve your COPR until you attend the interview. Only outland can go to the border as they recieve their COPR in the mail.

AIP will be next. Going by January applicants they are receiving AIP shortly after getting ghost updates. Many have recieved DMs and some even recieved landingi shortly after that. Most Feb applicants can hopefully expect the same shortly.

I am in the same situation as you regarding the BGC fingerprints. Mine is still saying "your action is required" and yesterday was the cut off. As much as it's panicking me that they may have not recieved them I keep reminding myself that medical was exactly the same and that eventually...

I don't see the reasoning for it but yeah it says it somewhere along the bottom of the worksheet highlighted in yellow? I usually just compare the dates of when people are receiving stuff and we have been pretty close so far.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Gm315tmNKWoywb7PwZBiE67fUmznYQrNhYVWXPXXJBw/edit?usp=drivesdk That's a link to the 2019 applicants tracker. You can look at January's applicants timelines and also add your timeline to the Feb one. It helps give others an idea of when to expect the next step.

I haven't had any update that they received my fingerprints yet either. I expect it to be a couple weeks before any update.

    ***FEBRUARY 2019*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Yes my BGC started the same day I got the fingerprint request. Not everyone gets a request for fingerprinting. Seems if you are in Canada longer then 6 months they are requiring it.

    ***FEBRUARY 2019*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Some January applicants are starting to receive AIP. Some have even started to receive SA, DM and a couple landing interviews already too. I went and had my fingerprints done for the RCMP criminal record check and just FYI if you get the same request to double check that they are submitting it...

AIP and or SA should be next.

    ***FEBRUARY 2019*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Yep your BGC has started. Congrats! They don't always request fingerprints. Seems if you've been in Canada for more then 6 months they are now requiring it. Mine came the same time as when my BGC began.

    ***FEBRUARY 2019*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

BGC is required for every applicant. They have just begun issuing to Feb applicants so don't worry. People in January are still waiting.

Your consultant is correct and that is a perfectly acceptable way to do it. I get how worrying it is but CIC are already aware of how long it takes to apply for certain types of police checks.
