It is at their discretion and it can be up to a year. In fact I have seen on the website a year is the normal occurence.

Hey Cknd, In answer to your question, yes you will have to use the new medical forms and undergo the new medical procedure. Fingers crossed for you that you will not have to and they apply an extension and you have your COPR without the need for a medical examination. Good luck :D

Amman is the VO of I presume Jordan. By your post, they assume you are applying through Jordan. Not sure why Amman has relevance to your case if you are going through Islamabad. Very confusing.

Scos, yes I never meant they will take the full stated time on the CIC website. It will still be about 50% are processed in 1/2 the stated time and 50% will be processed between 1/2 and full stated times. Nobody knows for sure how CIC works but London (not sure if other spreadsheets do this)...
