    ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS

This topic is like a double edged sword. We waited until after the sponsor approval came and then forwarded to my VO all the documents we wanted to add BUT our package never cleared customs and has been sitting there for 4 weeks now. So sending documents after stage 1 is not as easy as is...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Hey Sweden, Thanks for the info and would not have checked that for awhile without you telling me. Well I guess this new revised 8 month guideline will be the majority of my application, so I will have to start working on 8 months instead of the old 7. I will wait until end of November and hope...

    UK (London) Processing Times

Looking at the London VO spreadsheet it looks somewhere between 4-7 months. There have been a lot of COPR's granted within about 4 months. I am also going through London and am hoping that sometime towards the end of October I may have news. Wow Sponsor approval took so long for you. Sorry.

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Looked at the London spread sheet and it seems so sporadic. I can get a little idea roughly where they are but there is as many incomplete stage 2 applications as there is resolved cases. From what I can see about 50% of people who sent their initial application in January or February have been...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Is this true that London VO is working on end of May, beginning of June. That seems awfully quick. Can any others confirm this is an approximate date they are working from on applications received in these 2 months? Does anybody please have the link to the page that has information on every VO...

time for wife visa from China, reality ?

As some have said, every case is unique and a time line is so hard to predict. If your wife's Visa office is China they are currently processing 80% of applications within 6 months plus the 3 months for sponsor approval. If your case is relatively straight forward you should be looking at...

    Change the address( Inside Canada)

she can try 3 different options. 1) She can write to CIC and inform them that way with case ref I.D's 2) She can E-mail CIC and inform them that way (Probably not the best way) 3) Once you have ECAS you can manually update your address by logging in using your client I.D (probably the best...

    Certified Copies?

Not sure whether you have to send original marriage certificate or not (My wife sent ours) but the application check list says a photocopy of your birth certificate and photocopy of passports is suffice when sending out initial documents along with your notarised copies. Hopefully somebody could...

entry in canada with COPR but no visa?

I read somewhere in this forum that somebody did not get the visa but just the copr as it was buffalo VO but his passport was from different country. Perhaps his passport was from a visa exempt country. If you hold an Indian passport I am fairly certain that you will need a visa before...

Processing Times Stats - Spouses & Partners

Yes correct it gives them false hopes and some people who are visa exempt think that their case has been processed. Look at Delhi's figures above and yes they are fast but Manilla, London and others are almost as fast. I think that a lot of people think that PPR is nearly the end of the process...

Processing Times Stats - Spouses & Partners

Because people from certain countries get ppr very quickly don't assume that the reason for this is because there case has been processed. 1 of the reasons ppr is done so early in stage 2 is because that stops people moving and settling in Canada whilst their application is being processed and...

Lol but it looks like Manilla has 1 of the best and quickest VO's on the list, it is virtually identical to London VO which I know is 1 of the quicker VO's. All the best ;D

entry in canada with COPR but no visa?

As far as I am aware visa exempt countries will not require a visa, just their COPR. Those that do require a visa will have had passport request during their 2nd stage application period. Therefore once you get to the Canadian border to land the people who are visa exempt will be fine and those...
