    Visa Refusal Rates by Mission

Thanks PMM as I thought Spouse sponsorship paints an entirely different picture to those percentages that were quoted infact a 93% success rate for Spouse sponsorships out of 1450 applicants. That link you sent puts these crazy %'s in to perspective as a huge percentage of refusals is in the FSW...

    Visa Refusal Rates by Mission

Thanks for the information Hard to determine much from just percentages without how many applications and what class Visa's were applied for. Without knowing what class was applied for then it stands to reason that big embassies like London and Singapore would have big percentage of refusals.

    Not declaring your parents

Hey Bagel, I guess many people have avoided this question as it is difficult to answer with any degree of certainty. If it were me and I had made that mistake, first of all I would talk to my wife and tell her what mistake I had made and since she is in Canada could she phone CIC (Phoning from...

No every single member of your family be it siblings, parents or children (Dependant or not) You maybe getting confused with who needs medicals/ Police checks in which case you would be right but you must disclose all details of family members otherwise it can be classed as misrepresentation...

Makes no difference, the forms tell you to complete details of ALL children, siblings and parents. If these things are witheld it can be construed as misrepresentation and falsifying of a legal document. You don't choose what part you answer, you answer what questions they pose. With holding...

Yes it is mandatory to add dependant children, parents and siblings. If any of this information is not disclosed it is misrepresentation and closes of the avenue of certain background checks. Failure to declare also can be seen as falsifying of a legal document.

    Not declaring your parents

Sounds like you filled that out perfectly, I would have done exactly the same thing as yourself. Whatever his birth certificate says for his father should be entered in your application. I assume his certificate says father unknown. Do not put down a guess on the application form to who his...

A lot of people wish to know how to do this, since we filed our application we wish to add some more information ourselves so that any worry is eased and we can relax safe in the knowledge we have built a file as strong as possible. Your British (Like myself) I believe we are visa exempt and there will be no passport request just stage 2 of processing and then doc requests, interview (if needed) and COPR if application successful. So there should be no PPR for you :D

    April 2012 applicants, join here.

I think they are working from 2 processing centre's as has been stated from a lot of posters recently (Ottawa and Missisaugua) so they will leave 6 weeks or so with Miss April 11-May 25th and leave Ottawa with the other 6 weeks worth. They started doing this when February and March just became a...

    April 2012 applicants, join here.

I have been consistent with my views before getting AOR (See earlier posts) If they can reduce the waiting time from 91 days to 45 days then that benefits everybody in the future. It looks like they are rolling out June applications now as well doing mid late April and early May. 45 days waiting...

    April 2012 applicants, join here.

I guess what they are doing is working forward from May 25th onwards as well as processing late April and early May applicants. Their end goal is obviously to get that app waiting times right down to within 45 days so it looks like end of April and early May are the unlucky process but in 3-4...
